This is brill all my kids love to watch it and now out and about they look for letters and shout out when they spot one e.g. a clever cat there...

As a teacher of reception children for over 20 years, Letterland was the most successful reading programme I used. The children remembered the stories associated with each character and this helped with letter name, letter sound and writing skills. If you want some really educational fun with your child try the Letterland books.

My son Owen just loves this DVD and I have noticed a huge improvement in his learning of letters and sounds.

I run an English language pre school in France and always recommend this DVD to parents, many of whom are not native English speakers. The children really benefit from it and so do we as it helps them to learn the characters so much quicker and therefore makes our job easier when teaching them how to read. Most of them enter 'big school' already being able to read simple stories. Thank you Letterland! My only negative comment is that we miss the Wicked Water Witch, silly woman turning herself into a walrus!

I teach English in an International School in Jerusalem,Israel. I love using this program, and the children enjoy all of the characters and learn so quickly!I am also very happy about using Walter Walrus instead of a wicked witch! Great program!
